Once a conventional dexterous hand goes underwater, sealing, corrosion, pressure, and reliability all become bottlenecks at once. WA100 is redesigned around real underwater missions — from structure and materials to communications and control.
An IP68+ sealing system built for long-term submersion and high pressure, customizable for mission depths from 100 m to 10,000 m.
Far more than open-and-close gripping. Multi-joint coordination lets the fingers conform to irregular targets and perform complex actions — flicking, twisting, pinching, and grasping.
Single-finger force of at least 10 N and a full-hand lift payload of at least 5 KG keep the grip controlled even in turbulent currents.

FROM GRIP TO MANIPULATION
Traditional grippers handle fixed shapes and single motions well, but against soft, fragile, or irregular targets the choice is often between dropping it and crushing it.
CASE STUDY
Target recognition, posture adjustment, multi-finger enveloping, and a stable lift — completed in a real underwater environment. Not a concept demo, but a repeatable operational loop.
The end-effector position is adjusted to the target's posture, reserving safe clearance for multi-finger enveloping.
Multi-joint fingers gradually conform to irregular surfaces, reducing local stress and target damage.
Position and current feedback sustain the grasp through transport, recovery, or follow-on operations.
